The main focus of 5th -8thh grade lacrosse in SYSO is a continued emphasis of fundamentals development with the addition of a high level of competition.   As players develop in age the program adds additional time spent per week and skill complexity to their format.  This group of players will experience practices, house league game play and out of town game and tournament play at an advanced level.

• Spring (main season), winter and summer league options
• 5th/6th combined grade team
• 7th/8th combined grade team
• 10v10 player format
• Travel games and tournament teams via player evaluations (annualy each February)
• House league featuring balanced teams
• Non-parent head coaches (volunteer or parent assistants)
• All equipment provided by parents
