Girls Lacrosse Program
Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grade
Emphasis on fun, learning stick skills, and being a teammate.
3rd and 4th Grade
Continued work on stick skills, more time spent on positioning and starting to learn set plays. Still lots of development at practices as well as during games. Very common for girls to still be playing many different positions.
5th and 6th grade
Continued work on stick skills, as well as conditioning. Girls should have a good grasp of Field positions, as well as the rules of the game. Will be learning and executing more set plays, and playing competitive games.
7th and 8th grade
Girls will continue to be coached on plays, and will be playing more in set positions. Coaches will push the girls to learn, and condition. The girls will be playing competitive games, and taking the last steps to getting ready to play high school Girls Lacrosse.
